Those on zero hour contracts, part-timers & self employed will now be entitled to sick pay for self isolation for Coronavirus.

A good move ,but it is only 75 pounds a week....better than nothing I know .

Should leave these rights after this is all behind us too?

Best QT seen for a long time! For once all the politicians speaking with one voice - Hurray! There is supposed to be a detailed announcement by PM today. Let’s hope it stays! It will mean taxes or borrowing rising but I don’t think that’s a bad thing.

If we want a well resourced Health Service & Social Care System it has to be paid for some how and after all if we are no longer flying around to exacting places to holiday - who knows - we might be able to afford it! Flybe going down is a huge loss for our area and threatens the economy of our regions - SW - especially with the state & expense of the trains.

I know it’s not a lot but it may just make the difference for some and it will be paid from day 1.

In Norway,we have relatives there,taxes are quite high.BUT QOL is very good indeed....yer gets wot yer pays for??
