This seem to be getting worse, I haven't closed my eyes all night, this is really depressing..

My AF would often start at night & the trouble is that sleep deprivation may lead to depression so not something to be ignored.

There are several things that can contribute - sleep apnea - see your GP and ask for a test.

Postural - sleeping on one side or another - see if one is more comfortable.

The most disturbing symptom for me was I could hear my HR - Pulsaltile Tittinus. My solution was to listen to audio books or music through earbuds - I then would fall asleep & AF would often begone when I awoke.

Everyone is different & finds their own solutions but it is very important to find an answer & be s as ble to have good quality sleep so do seek help.
