I posted about a month ago about a major increase in PACs. Indont so any of the triggering behaviors ie coofee or alcohol. I do stress like a mad man. I have anxiety disorder. A month ago inhad then all day and two days later I had a 3 hour run of AF. I have now had them this whole month and the last two days have been all day and all night. I'm getting my second abaltion on 1/21/20. What is going on with me? I just moved to Florida and it was extremely stressful as all moves are. I'm settled in now and so happy to be back in Florida where I belong. I was just curious if these PACs are from stress, or do they mean I'm getting worse or what? I know they drive us all crazy. I just want to live my life. These things are more annoying than AF. I took 50mg of Flec about a half hour ago and it's slowing down the PACs I've tried everything else so I figured I'd give it a shot. It works for my AF in a matter of hours.
Should I be worried about this? I just can't explain why it came on so strong so fast, other than I am pretty stressed out, by I have been way more stressed out than this before in NY, and not had PACs.
I would love any opinions or guesses. Thanks so much.

Hi Amurray - I am afraid we can’t give you definitive answers but my money would be the stress. I also found ectopics/PAC’s very uncomfortable and quite disabling. Deep, slow breathing helps. If you can also find something to ease your stress it will help enormously.
I would be very careful about taking Flecainide for PAC’s without checking with you doctor as my understanding is that it can also have a pro-arrhythmic affect.
I agree. I took the mag on an empty stomach. Not a good idea. Boy does that cause nausea. I’m going to see my new cardio tomorrow. I have my EP in place and I’m not changing him.
I am in the same position at the moment PAC ‘s 24/7 for 3 months now. I take 100 mg Flecainide twice a day. It is the only thing that makes life bearable although I hate taking it. I don’t know why they suddenly appear, I was in no particular stress at the time. I agree with you that they are more annoying than AF, I didn’t feel this bad when I was in persistent AF before my ablations. Wish I had a magic cure for you but you have my sympathies.
