In short.

Had SVT for 27 years.

Been on Flecainide for 4 months that stopped the SVT's

Felt great and back to normal

Tachycardia attack some days ago showed up as AF.

Since then I have spells of dizziness and nausea but no tachycardia except for some ectopics.

Is it possible to have AF with a normal heart beat and not knowing you have AF?

You can have slow AF but it is still an irregular heartbeat. Has your flecainide been reviewed and/ or do you take a beta blocker with it?

Flecainide is a good drug but can cause other arrythmias in some people. More Qs than answers. Did the AF show up on ECG at surgery?

I am on Flecainide and a calcium channel blocker called amlodipine. The cardiologist changed my beta blocker for the amlodipine because my pulse was too low.

My AF was recorded in the hospital on EKG.

Thanks for satisfying my enquiring mind. Some people have episodes of AF of which they are unaware usually if it's slow and irregular- not me though!
