Pins and needles in hand/arm

I have a pacemaker for trifacicular block but I also have an areterial flutter. I was having pins and needles on diagnosis but gp/cardiologist said it was not related and would go away. It did but returned with a vengeance....burning in hand and tingling up arm (left only) .... everything I read says it could be my heart!!!! Had it now on and off for a couple of weeks..... I don't want to go back to GP if this is just something I have to put up with as part of the flutter....is it normal....do any of you lovely people feel the same?

This is not a normal side effect of any arrhythmia in my view. It could be a trapped nerve in you neck or lots of things so please see your GP. Are you on anticoaghulation by the way?

Thank you for your reply....they did say trapped nerve or carpel tunnel possibility but my symptoms weren't consistent enough at the time.....i will talk it over with my GP as it is happening all too often....it tends to accompany the burping and tummy noises I get when I am having a sesh if flutter tho so thought I'd check with others......yes to the blood thinners..... I take apixoban twice daily 👍

Oh wow.... that's good to know....in all fingers and hand and creeping up my arm...the burning sensation is only in the hand but spidery feeling goes into forearm. So I'm guessing not a trapped nerve.... recently increased my exercise so wondered if I had trapped something....good to know I can still exercise 😄

Tingling in limbs could be an effect of the anticoagulant. Mine definitely started at the time I took my first Riveroxaban. Look up the side effects.
