Has anyone tried Fibricheck?

This is a new app that requires a monthly subscription, it provides either a automated (£3.99/month) or a "Medical Expert" (£10.99/month) report on your pulse which is measure by putting your finger over the camera lens of you phone, your waveform is then shown and stored.

I have an app on my iPad which uses the finger on camera method but i don't think it's very accurate.

Yes I have the free one on my phone and iPad, the one I have was very accurate in some. not all arrhythmia, as I compared it with the one in the hospital I was connected to for 5 days but it does not recognise all the waveforms of many arrhythmia so when you need it the most it does not work, it did record Aflutter very well though and can record AT if its not too fast, So limited use. I don't know what this Fibricheck is like though, the benefit this has is that you will get a medical report from each measurement.

Once again these things are not autonomous and therefor of limited usefulness. We need fully autonomous AI so our hearts can be monitored without our intervention day or night. It will come but not yet.

Yes, I did toy with the idea of getting this one for now but I am gong off the idea unless someone can say thats it worth getting.

This method is not accurate because it only registers fairly strong blood flow so misses low pressure beats. Kardia registers electrical signals so much more accurate. Also doctors scorn the 'phone' method - my GP was very dismissive because she hadn't heard of Kardia and thought I had a phone camera trace 😒

I use Kardia and it is very accurate.
