Still in af 3 weeks later . However apart from shortness of breath and occasional fluttering I am getting used to higher heart rate. However my hr annoys me when tonight it went 39 to 89 in one hit. I think it’s that extreme that makes me feel ill.
Anyway today got my appointment for seeing cardiology team in 3 months

Such a long time to wait. Many of us found that just seeing an EP privately really helped ease the anxiety, would that be an option for you?
I saw on the AF Patient Day - coming up on ~Oct 6th - that persistent/permanent AF is on the agenda. When I was fist diagnosed I learned so much from the AF Patient Day and this forum - including what questions to ask. I found I didn’t get much information options at all from the doctors other than drugs which I didn’t want to take.
Hello Deb I am still in Afib lowish 100/20 just been put on 10 mgs Nebivolol Taken first dose this morning..App with EP on Dec 6 th. This has been going on since Aug 6th so getting really fed up with it now but very optimistic that this will work.😄
Hi Bertie. I can relate to how you are feeling. Is that drug instead of bisopolol? 6 dec long time, at least you have an EP I just have cardiologist. Although I am seeing a different one to last time, so I hope he is a better communicator than the last one.
Not short of breath just pottering about but if I try to rush I feel weak and like my chest is burning.yes was on Bisoprolol 71/2 mgs yesterday so just taking it easy at the moment to feel the effect of the change.
