Out of Meds

Well this morning I ran out of my meds and my next consultant appointment is a week away. Fortunately my doctor’s practice was able to sort me and at 4pm today I called in and collected my prescription so alls well again. I did notice the paperwork states Longlife for AF, I’m hoping not, it’s a question I will be asking next week.

Sorry, my prescription says that my medication will be for the rest of my life, unless I drop lucky I guess. Since my post I’ve been in for an ECG which was reported as improved so I’m waiting on the consultant response which is due 7August. Fingers crossed.

Well I’ve been out of circulation for a few months, I’ve been ok just busy with other things. In mid September I had an appointment with my consultant and underwent several tests, at that time they found everything was good so with agreement we discontinued my prescription, for a couple of weeks I checked my heart rate and all was ok. I’ve now been feee of AF and medication for a full 3 months and so far so good. I’m 64 and now starting to think about what I’m going to do, I’m not ready for retirement but equally would like to wind down a little, so over the first quarter of 2020 I’ve got some thinking to do.

So after an eventful year I’d like to wish you all a Happy New Year and health and happiness.

I’ll check in every so often hopefully with good news.
