Monomorphic ventricular ectopics - Advice

Hi all,

Not sure this is the right community but wasn’t sure which to go to for advice.

I have had a heart ultrasound done which came back normal findings, and had an event recorder given to me for 4 weeks. I did notice on my findings that the T waves were dropping instead of going up..

Had a letter on Saturday saying they have found Monomorphic Ventricular Ectopic Beats and ‘in view of this’ wanting to do an exercise stress test for exercise induced arrhythmias including cardiac Ischemia.

Has anyone else had Ventricular ectopics and had this done, if so what was the outcome ?

I don't know what those are but it sounds as if it is a good thing you are having tests done. I suggest you go to the British Heart Foundation website which has tons of info and a helpline as well. Also there is a BHF forum on Health Unlocked where you might find someone else who has had the test.

I have had an exercise stress test on a treadmill but there are other ways of doing it, nothing to worry about. I hope you have a reassuring result, best wishes 💜

Don't worry too much about tests

Could be electrolytes have they done blood tests.

Stress can cause too

Iv just got a recognisable thing back

My new medication's causing huge loss in water so I know potassium down missed beats just know I have blood test tomorrow still have my sando k

Pottassum tablets but scared to use incase higher
