Not really a question but concern. I'm post cryoablation and generally feel good but I notice today that my heart rate is up near 77, which is unusual for me. I worry because I felt like this when I was in nsr two years ago. I haven't had a physical in a while so I guess o should do that. Anyone have similar experiences out there?

Bothersome heart rate
I have found my resting heart rate varies fairly significantly. It is usually in the low 60s but can go up to the mid 70s for no apparent reason. The last time this happened, I was feeling generally unwell so I went to see my GP. She patiently explained that I was probably fighting off some virus and there really wasn't much either she or I could do. I got the impression that she was getting just a little fed up with people going in waving their Apps!
But, if you don't feel well, by all means get a check-up.
For some people, I believe it's quite normal to have a higher heart rate after an ablation and it can take 6 months or more to return to normal. Our volunteer on this forum BobD is often telling people this.

In my experience your heart will need some time to heal properly after the procedure. I don’t think it is uncommon to experience some unusual things for a while. I would not worry too much about it at this point. Give it some time.
I am 6 years out from my ablation and I still feel some skipped beats when I am stressed or tired from time to time.
Hang in there!
