My aneurism has been monitored for 4 years and is now 5.8 cams in size. I have been told I am suitable for a stent to be fitted. Has anybody had this done . Ian F.

As this forum is for AF I wonder if you will get more replies on a more diverse forum.

I presume you mean an aortic aneurysm and you may find a better fit for you enquiry elsewhere on Health Unlocked.

Hi Ian, sorry we can't help you as this is a forum for people with the heart condition atrial fibrillation, so in general we know little about aneurysms. If at the top of this page in the Search HealthUnlocked box you type aneurysm it will hopefully throw up some posts from other sites.

Hope you soon get some advice and wish you well.

My husband had an operation for AAA some years ago but didn't have a stent unfortunately. He was out working on his allotment this morning (age 83) so good outcome. Best wishes 💝
