metoprolol

Been on metoprolol for 14 months since I had a stroke due to afib. Started on 25 mg then cut in half 12.5 mg. My primary doc changed me to carvedilol 3.125mg 9 days ago due to sob. I feel like a new person, I've done more in a week than I have in six months!

Amazing how different drugs suit different people. Glad a change has helped.

That's great to hear that you feel so much better. I too take 12.5 of Metoprolol twice daily along with Flecainide. Wonder if I'd feel better on carvedilo, I feel I've lost my get up and go?

I know what you mean...on 50mg a day......I wonder if something else would stop me feeling so fatigued all the time......it seems such a waste of time, to snooze in the afternoons!!

Just had my daughter and granddaughter here for roast dinner, after I'd cooked it I was too tired to help do the dishes. Still some left for me to do in the morning, but I'll be ok again then. Keep getting a horrible ache in my back too, which is so draining.

I often have a snooze in the afternoon and yes it is a waste of time!

Poor old things aren't we! 😒
