Back to work today!

So I had my 1st cardioversion last Thursday.... I’m still in NSR, no thanks to a wicked cold I’ve had ever since.

Anyway no more sitting around, I’m back to work today! Hoping I can start forgetting about the AF again!

Thanks for your support here in the last week, it’s helped me a lot!

Which is why we take anti-coagulants to counter the risk. Can’t quite see how the risk would be higher just because you are at work?

Good luck, I hope your day goes well and you stay in NSR. No racing around mind, or exerting yourself too much, until your heart has really gained strength beating in it's correct rhythm.

Good luck and manage your stress levels, stop and breath slowly for 2 minutes whenever you feel life is speeding up - that’s usually a first sign of stress building. Don’t wait until you feel overwhelmed.

Thankyou, I will be careful! ❤️

Hi BC :-) can I suggest when you are back at work you try to avoid undue stress.

If you find yourself getting angry or anxious try slow deep breathing and walk away from the situation until you are calm. Many of us find that getting anxious and raising our adrenaline levels can contribute to AF. Remember your heart comes first so treat it with care.

Have a good day :-)
