Thanks for that, food for thought there. I often wonder how much surgery time and money would be saved if the G.P approach was more holistic. We have a notice up in our practise asking us to only discuss one problem in our appointment time which is difficult if one has a few medical issues that are possibly interlaced. I also read about Skype appointments perhaps being used more, and I think there may be some use in this, especially if a bit more time could be allocated. Not sure if this is feasible as things stand today but I believe something needs to be done to try and reduce pressure on surgeries and on our A & E departments. Anyway just a few thoughts
