Does look like it's getting there! I remember mine being horrendous after my first ablation and bleeding extensively from the puncture site!

Can't begin to image how much probing and prodding it took to induce bruising to that extent...Not withstanding the fact that it was enroute to the heart before Ablation had even commenced...

That really does look better. It is amazing how quickly it can disappear.

I did have a big bruise once but not on the same scale at all.

Good to post the photos as hopefully it might just stop some first timers from worrying too much.

Looks scary all the same.

Had my ablation less then 2 weeks ago. NO bruising whatsoever in the groin just bruising on the wrist and arm. They must have been very gentle with me lol

Looks way better. Just showed my surgeon (gynae) other half the first (earlier) pic and she said ‘nothing to worry about just superficial intra-dermal’ and then showed her this pic and she said ‘told you!’

Comforting to know Mikey. There was no discomfort at all, ached slightly for a few days and the entry points all healed without any problems. Probably all gone by Wednesday 😉
