Hello all you lovely AFs, well it is now the second time for my son Jason , he has to go to Glenfield on Sunday for his OHS on Monday, I am going over to his house on Sunday, to look after my Portia ( my granddaughter, and the dog), I spoke with him today and he seemed not to bad, b ut come Sunday I wonder if it will be the same, I am a bit like that at the moment, but I mustn’t show my upset, don’t want to make Portia cry. I just will have to say my prayers. Of course this week I had a bout of food poisoning feeling very rough at he moment but better than ear, jerk on in the week. Hope you all in reasonable health ( as much as one can be with Af .take care. Sann xx

Excuse me, but what is OHS please
Hope all goes well for your son. It must be so worrying for you all.
Thank you, I have been trying for ages to get this message on to you, at last I have managed it, it just wouldn’t let me reply. As I previously said thank you, I shall be glad when Jason has had the op, I am absolutely worried to death, mind you I am a person that things all the wrong things like “ what if” etc, but I can’t help it. Sann x
Hi Sann, I hope all goes well for Jason this time. A friend's husband had OHS and I was amazed at the speed of his recovery. He now has extremely good health and feels that he's been giving a second chance of living life to the full.
Sorry to hear about you having food poisoning. Many years ago a group of us ate out one evening and all ended up with food poisoning. It took me about two weeks to recover! Hope you will get better quicker than that.
Best wishes.
Jean
My daughter had open heart surgery at 20 and there were so many sleepless nights, tears, and anguish - from us, her family, not her! It all looks and is very frightening at the time but your son is in good hands and the right place. Hoping that everything goes well. Best wishes.
Just thought about my response above and I had no intention of sounding flippant - she was very very frighted too and it was the biggest strain was keeping cheerful and positive in her presence.
Wishing you and your son a successful surgery and a wonderful outcome.
