I’ve had ectopics for 3 days now, at the moment I’m waiting to catch a flight and have just gone into AF.

Seven weeks post ablation now, so fed up with this, is there any hope this will get better?

I’m sure you have heard it said many times Maura, it takes 3 to 6 months for the scar tissue to heal and consequently prevent rogue pathways so please try and relax for your flight ....additional stress is the last thing you need at the moment. Keep well hydrated throughout the flight and avoid all alcohol. Ectopics, whilst unpleasant they are not normally dangerous so if you are going on holiday, try to have a good time....

Thanks Flapjack

Onboard now AF getting faster 🙄 have taken verapamil hope I don’t have to resort to Flecainide as not sure if it makes me better or worse! Thanks for advice will drink plenty of water. 5 hour flight so could be worse. Won’t be accepting the lovely ice cold glass of champagne I’m about to be offered then!

Hi Jean, it lasted just over 2 hours which is quite short for me! So back to normal now thank goodness. I’m in Cyprus and it’s still very hot here so I’ll have to stay well hydrated. Hoping that now I don’t have to worry about work for a while things might settle down......
