Hi all
Well I saw EP last Tuesday in the pacemaker clinic (a quicker way of seeing me rather than waiting till December as was the changed appointment)
Good news first..... pacemaker NOT recorded and episodes of flutter or Afib!! Since ablation in April!! It has been deemed a success!! I will take that.
Then..... I showed him my BP readings which showed extremely low blood pressure his eyes nearly popped out his head!! I told him GP had to take me off Bisoprolol he agreed but now he is referring me to his colleague who deals with cardiogenic syncope who can do more in-depth tests if he will see me given I have a pacemaker....AND.... referring to a specialist chemist (I think) who will do some test or other ( can’t remember the name let alone pronounce or spell it) on my Adrenal Glands for adrenal insufficiency/ Addison Disease! Yikes now that was a mouthful I know. But to say he was worried I think was an understatement!!!
Plus he’s upped my Midodrine which I can’t tolerate as it gives me cold sharp shards in my head(it is used to increase blood pressure)
So playing the waiting game again... but keeping me under him at Leicester Glenfield but I am also to keep the December appointment in his clinic . But really really cannot fault the care I am receiving from there. Yes it’s an hours drive from where I live but I am getting the best treatment...and I got some lovely lovely fruit from the stall outside the hospital too!! Just thought ide say haha!!
I’m still feeling quite ill with the low BP he’s concerned this has happened since ablation I think I left him scratching his head so as to speak!! Poor man having me for a patient... but I did say I was that one in a million patient!!
Just wanted to update you all..
