Hello everyone who replied to my post. Thank you for your comments and of course it would be sensible to see my GP, however after more research yes, my Monomil xl, (isosorbide mononitrate ) is contraindicated with Viagra, Cialis. So, best not risk it. I guess after 30 years of Beta Blockers my poor pecker has paid the price!

Re. Sotalol and Viagra.
HI Pabbam if it's really bothering you there may be none-contra indicated meds to replace the isobide worth considering
Hi Pabba, for what it’s worth – my own opinion is that this is important for your wellbeing as a whole. You had the courage to ask the Forum and therefore do have a discussion with either your GP or Cardiologist and find out if there is something you could change to which would be compatible with Viagra. If you are unsure of your GP or do not have an appointment with your Cardiologist scheduled soon, how about writing to the Cardiologist and asking their opinion? You never know, your enquiry may encourage your Cardiologist to take the initiative and have such a discussion with their patients from hereon as part of the overall consultation process - in this way, you may end up helping many.
Thank you Mary.
I will see my GP and give feedback here. For me and for all guys I expect, after previously having always had an active sex life, not being able to 'perform' now is something that is quite a blow to ones self esteem, and as you say, ones general Wellbeing. Thankyou for taking the time to reply.
