Cryo ablation

So, after nagging the uhcw and my gp being involved finally got an appointment for my husband to have his cryo ablation procedure which will take place on the 13th of August. He is very unwell at the moment. Lvef is less than 10%. Just wanted to ask the community will he feel much improved immediately? I understand that it takes a few months for the heart to heal. Many thanks.

It will take time and he may not feel too much improved for a few weeks . Our Recovering from Ablation fact sheet available on AF Association website may be helpful

Hi, I understand that is a very low lvef but hopefully being in nsr will improve it. However I think that as your husband is very unwell you should expect improvement to take longer. I am saying this because I don't want you to feel downhearted if his recovery doesn't follow the 'normal' pattern.
