Same here. The recent high temperatures haven't helped with AF.

My brother is a farmer in Lancashire. He started combining cereals on Monday - unheard of before Wimbledon hitherto. He says that crops are dying on their feet rather than ripening. Potatoes aren't growing well either.

All this means that food will be significantly more expensive from now on.

Rain lasted all of five minutes down yere. Cloudy today but Sun expected about 11am . Rushing around doing as much now before it heats up but opticians in half an hour and must get a card for Sam's birthday Saturday. Breakfast at Carluccios in Exeter tomorrow followed by retail therapy. Deep joy.

Bob - How about, all we that can, meeting for a late breakfast in Exeter town centre one day? I could catch the train to Exeter Central station. The hotel over the road from there may do us a deal. Think it used to be called The Rougemont, I often go there for coffee these days when shopping.

Great Idea. It's only an hour from me on a good day by car.( Barnstaple train service is the pits) . You come up with some dates.

Think this topic of meeting up has crossed over to my topic of conversation and I'm getting notification of them Something I was asked not to do when I first started on here
