Aortic valve replacement

Has anyone had the experience of having AF, then moving on a few years later, to needing an Aortic valve replacement.

No but I am being monitored as I have a bicuspid aortic valve,which means instead of three flap closure,mind is two and shaped like a fish mouth,not as effective and in time may stiffen up and need replacement.Maybe you are same?

I have PAF and BAV. On waiting list for ablation by electrophysiologist and bav being monitored by cardiologist by mri and echo until it may/may not need replacement.
