Exhausted

Does anyone get palpitations from extreme exhaustion? I am dead tired from not getting sleep and working for last week? Anyone experience this?

Yes but this was years before I was diagnosed with a fib.

In fact I fact I got to the stage with overwork / oveplay that I could not go to sleep properly even when I had the time to do it. Was diagnosed with depression/ anxiety at the time. I did not feel "depressed" just knackered and I could not think straight.

If you think you have a sleep problem There is current best seller by Matthew walker called " why we sleep". It describes all the ways we humans and society try to make ourselves ill and kill ourselves by lack of sleep. It's about 7 or 8 pounds on Amazon. I guarantee you will have a good idea what your problem is and why, when you have read it. If I had known all this years ago I could have saved myself a lot if grief!

Yes,only yesterday I had a busy day with several things planned.However,had to cut short and go home to rest as AF kicked in so I could do my breathing exercisies and sit quietly.Just have to go with the flow as they say....

Listen to Dr Sanjay Gupta's latest video about Acupuncture and AF (there's a link on this forum). In that, he gives a very incisive description of the causes of AF, as an imbalance between the opposite poles of the autonomic nervous system. You need enough "rest and digest" to balance out the stress response.
