Not AF but Eptopic!!!!!!!!

The last 7 weeks have been a bit of a learning curve for myself trying to take in everything that could possibly happen.

A blip was pick up by a friends Kardia back in early January.

I ended up with tests left right and Chelsea, including wearing a cardio call machine for 3 days, nothing has been picked up except for the Eptopic beats we all have!!!!!!.

Initially I was given 1.25 Bisoprolol, which was then increased to 2.5 then 5mg.

After several visits to the Doctor, discussions and telephone conversations, it seems like I have just been having Eptopic/Irregular Heart rhythms.

I sometimes get the bang in the night, woken up and get a racy pulse and the banging heart beat which usually subsides after an hour. I think it is something I will just have to get used to it happening any time of day.

I have purchased a Kardia machine just for peace of mind and can now use to find any problems in the future.

The Doctor has now reduced me back to 1.25mg Bisoprolol, as a preventative measure for the Eptopic beats.

I have read lost of posts while I've been awaiting a diagnosis, which I have found very interesting.

Thank you for reading

Francis
