Hi everyone.

After being diagnosed exactly 2 years ago, following a few months of ups and downs my afib actually settled down. I was feeling really good, started pilates, walking and actually lost about a stone and a half. During the summer months I had a little blip when my blood pressure occasionally dropped causing me to feel very faint. GP reduced my zemtard dosage and all continued on fine. Just before Xmas I was getting dressed when I must somehow of pulled a muscle in my back. Very painfull and I had my first afib attack for ages. Since then I have had several bouts sometimes almost on a daily basis, in-Nerving! Struggling to cope with increasing back pain and immobility. I have been taking paracetamol and occasional codine for the pain. Afib continues to be a problem

, longest attack today about7 hours, it’s left me feeling completely washed out. I was wondering if anyone else can attribute attacks to either pain or medication, and if so what’s the best thing to do about it please. Sorry for the length of this post but feeling pretty down at the moment

Look at some of my posts about how the back and neck affect the parasympathetic and sympathetic nerves. You seem to have what I have been getting improved with appropriate chiropractic adjustments.

Hi, yes I see what you mean, however over the years I have fractured several vertebra the last two being T5 and T7 exactly two years ago. The AF was diagnosed 3 days later. I have been seeing a chriopracture and I will certainly discuss this issue with him. Thanks for replying
