I currently wear a Fitbit Blaze to monitor my heart rate when walking, then I know when to stop and wait for it to drop again. Is anybody currently using an Apple Watch 3 and a Kardia band?

I wear a Alta fit bit my hubby brought me it when first diagnosed last nov , I find it helpful to know what my heart rate is , it also records my sleep pattern . To me it’s comforting to know my heart rate etc I don’t stress when I feel my heartbeat has gone either high or low , I just either take a sit or ignore . My comfort blanket .
Thanks, not sure how accurate these smart watches are but at least it is comforting to see the trend. I always know if I have an episode in my sleep as the watch doesn’t record my pattern fully then.
hj dolly. i agree it's comforting to know what your heart rate is. i think it's time i updated to a fitbit and stopped carrying my pulse ox around in my purse.lol. yes! i still do this... irina1975
I have an Apple watch 3 and had the Kardia band, but had to return it as I had an allergic reaction to the metal plates. However, I can still monitor my heart rate with my watch if I want to. If I need to do an ECG I find using my Apple phone with the Kardia attachment just as good.
Thank you so much for coming back. Certainly food for thought. I see the EP on Tuesday and will know more once my plan is in place. Or am I being hopeful!
Interested... I can monitor heart rate on Fitbit...but doesn’t tell me if in rhythm. What is the Kardia attachment? How do I use it with my IPhone?
I think you have to buy an Apple Watch then you can fit a Kardia band to it and monitor it or you can buy a stand alone Kardia device which some people have. I just watch my hr going up and down on my Fitbit at the moment
