.....have just logged into my GP surgery account to place order for repeat prescription...
...spotted that the details of my bloods appointment for 4 December was on there....
......hmm......is it me...or was it '5 to 9'... aka 8.55am?

I read your last post and the comments there. Although we have to laugh at such seeming incompetence, it is your health which is being serviced (or not) and shouldn't be treated lightly.
In your position, I would gather details and make an appointment (if you can) with the practice manager to make it clear that this is not acceptable and follow it up with a letter.
Maybe I'm paranoid, but can one practice really make so many accidental mistakes?
thankyou Finvola for saying this....I do sometimes sit and wonder whether I am over thinking it and that this is just 'normal'.....
....but I have indeed started the process of gathering all related mistakes, errors, lack of referral etc that have happened since joining this practice....but they just appear to keep on adding to them
I can shed some light on this. The computer system used to put in appointments will have set appointment times, 9, 9:15, 9:30 etc. It sounds like the nurse is ‘squeezing you in’ before her clinic starts. In order to do this, you will have been ‘double booked’ with another patient in the same slot - this shows on the computer system as two half length appointments, hence 9:08, but in fact, the nurse will have made a note that she is seeing you before clinic starts. I hope that makes sense! I used to work the desk at a GP surgery, so I know how these things work.
Bottom line, attend at 8:55

.....previous post describes the farce of it all..and appointment was booked by the surgery (I didn't choose this day or the 8.50 slot)....I believe its safe to assume that as planned...I will arrive early to cover all incompetent and farcical possibilities.....and just to add...they are fully aware I am a total needle phobe......
