Depends on what your problem is.

We may be able to assist if you tell us more.

Bob knows best.

It is different for everyone with differing problems to say exactly what you need to ask. The stent perhaps adds to the issues for discussion.

Bisoprolol is a rate control drug.

He may just talk to you and then ask for a series of tests depending on what you have already had done. These should include thyroid function and general bloods, an echo cardiogram to assess the mechanical health of your heart and obviously ECG to see what is going on. Possibly a 48 hour Holter monitor if nothing shows on ECG.

My first ever appointment with an EP had a nurse welcome me and weigh me, take my blood pressure, ask me a few questions, and then rig me up for an ECG. Shortly after that I saw the EP himself and we talked for about half an hour with no further actual tests. I did show him my Kardia records, which he scanned very briefly.

Of course, everyone is different. YMMV.

Kardia? Do you mean like your body readings etc

Hertbeat321 No, the AliveCor Kardia is a gizmo attached to my smartphone which gives a 30 second (or longer) recording of a 2-wire ECG. There's loads of stuff on here about it - use the search box (top right). I bought myself one immediately after my first attack, during the 'scared to death' phase. I'm much more relaxed about my AF now, especially after reading all the reports from the lovely people on this forum. I still wouldn't be without the Kardia though.
