I have had AF for 5 years, none of the meds controlled it and I had an ablation in May 2016. This worked well for 12 months when it all started again. I've been given Flecanide to take when I have an attack but I feel not well managed.

Does anyone take it on a daily basis? I'm having to wait long periods between cardiologist appointments.

yes have been taking 2X50mg for 10 years and at that level no issues - only time I get AF is with colds or chest infections - no issues with Flec.

Yes. I was on flec for a few years, then on a different med for 2 years. Had 2nb ablation aug 30 this year. Back on flec, had one bad bout of afib 3 weeks ago, ok other than that. No problem with flec. Other than get very tired from all meds by 3 in the afternoon. I am age 74. Marney
