Hi, I am not good at doing this, but has anyone else had a success story after second ablation for afib on right side. I am having second one done in two weeks.

Most people with a success story do not continue to look at our forum. They just go away and enjoy their new lease of life.

Depends upon your definition of success? 2nd ablation eliminated AF for me for nearly 3 years. Sept last year it returned but episodes were significantly less symptomatic and seemed to be vagally triggered so I am now able to mostly avoid the triggers and haven't had an episode for 6 weeks or so.
Many people need more than one ablation, I think the most I heard of is one poster saying he had 8. Not advocating it though!

A Fib ablations are done in left side. Flutter in right. That said I needed three but AF free for nine years. Still get other arrhythmias but not the dreaded AF for sure. Multiple ablations are not uncommon.
