Glucose reading and alcohol wipe

I started using alcohol wipe on my father before taking reading just two weeks ago. After that the readings went higher by roughly 1mmol. Today I stop using alcohol wipe and reading went down by roughly 1mmol. Could it be possible it is due to the way I use it?

Hello, I think you might be looking to ask this in a diabetes forum rather than this one which is specifically for patients with atrial fibrillation. However, through personal experience (my son is Type 1), I can tell you that alcohol wipes can effect a blood glucose reading.
