Breathlessness

Hi Everybody

Hope you are all not feeling too bad.

Has anyone else been extremely breathless, in this lovely weather.

It started last week. and hasn't gone away. My chest is really tight, am sometimes

gasping for breath , with a wheezy cough.

I'm obviously not a medical expert but have you ever had asthma or allergies? This sounds like the asthma my son suffers from at this time of year - hay fever type allergy brings on the asthma - and it is the time of year for allergies. My son described it exactly same as you - never had allergies when younger the asthma started at age 36 so you can get late onset asthma when older Best advice would be see a doctor so you can find out what causes these symptoms - take care and try not to worry, although I know easier said than done with this condition ❤️

I have had asthma since I was four and I still have it, I too have been extra wheezy over the last few days and it is sometimes difficult to tell whether it is asthma or AF causing the wheezy breathlessness, I have to be very careful taking my asthma meds as they interact with the AF, my doctor and consultant both commented on it but there is nothing to do but take their advice and keep on taking the meds. Hope you get sorted soon. Lynn.
