Can anyone advise me on how to send a personal message

I used to know but the new format has stumped me.

Click on a person's name then top right hand corner is message

Hi shirlygirly ,

Beancounter is correct! You can also access your messages (by clicking on your username at the top of the page and selecting messages from the drop-down menu) and click on the green "Compose" button to the right-hand side to create a new private message.
