Thanks for information and support. I am learning from everyone. I am wondering if it's best to just go on with movements as high/low heart rates remain only for a minute or two...because I just stop moving. I am home bound for now.

MY advice is to carry on living as normal a life as you can. Do what you can when you can and roll with the punches.

If you do anything else you are letting AF win which is NOT ALLOWED here.

The most important thing I've learned from this forum is : AF won't kill you! (But the stroke might). If you are particularly frequently in AF, and it weakens you or tires you to a dangerous level, then there is good cause not to go doing dangerous sports or occupations. Otherwise, carry on.

The less you move, the more unfit you get. Make a plan of what to do if you feel very poorly while out and then try to carry on as normal. I once carried on doing my supermarket shopping while in AF with chest pain and though I don't recommend you be so casual it shows you can get used to your condition.

I agree with others about carrying on but think when you get the extremes of heart rate mentioned you should pause and rest- for different reasons- so the high rate will decline a little and the low rate doesn't mean you might faint etc. If worried, contact the hospital for advice
