This is the best explanation I have heard and it was much needed.

Excellent! When taken to A and E I had heart rate of 159 and irregular rhythm - AFib diagnosed. But, 9 months on My heart rate is normal but I have an irregular rhythm ( all the time). I assume that I have partially controlled (by the medication) AFib rather than Ectopic heartbeat? Certainly that is my diagnosis.

Thank you Dr Sanjay for a wonderfully clear description of AF I have the last one you described and it is amazing how my heart can go from 60bpm to 150bpm in one beat!!

Does not feel very nice either!!
