I have been taking dabigatran for a few years now and bisoprolol following bilateral PE.I also suffer occasionally from asthma.My breathlessness seems to be getting worse does anyone else have similar problems.Also can alcohol cause problems?Thank you

You've got a number of reasons for breathlessness as stated. Bisoprolol with asthma may be a factor, but the current view is that it doesn't often cause problems.

You need a doctor review to assess cardiac and respiratory function to see if anything can be improved.

Regarding alcohol; yes it can affect cardiac function and also cause anaemia
