The following article is very interesting regarding a possible way forward for people with scarring from heart attacks. Not strictly AF related but I know there are many posters who have such heart conditions in addition to their AF.

Cautious hope that larger trials will confirm.

I read this too. Very interesting. I reckon in another 30 years surgery will be a thing of the past.
