Other people seem to believe there is a site problem but mine is working fine. I just went into my profile and changed some of my settings but everything looks ok except I am not receiving a daily digest email. Is that what you mean when you say you are not receiving posts?
This has been the case for two days at least. No e mail advises so having to go into site to check . Your post was flagged up by e mail so maybe things have been sorted.
NB I also seem to have been hacked which may or may not be connected. My old e mail address has been sending stuff out like a shotgun much of which has come back undelivered since I am no longer with that isp. Suggest that you scan your computer (full scan) just in case.

I am on Windows 7 pro and use SUPERantispyware free addition plus Microsoft security essentials. Old fashion tower computer, None of this tablet stuff.
Mmm Microsoft is quite susceptible, even with malware products on it, unfortunately. I used to have worms more than virus attacks which drove me to distraction.
OK I know I know Mac is best. Strange thing is one of the e mails seems to have come from a Mac user but I spoke to him this morning and he tells me nothing wrong with his set up. Very strange it is my old virgin account being used which is now over a year since I switched.
Not a computer geek I'm afraid, more a nuts and bolts engineer.
Unfortunately it would have been his email account which was hacked, not his computer. That has happened to me several times, especially google & yahoo accounts. Trouble is that whilst we as Mac users aren't directly affected on our machines, the email accounts are. The other biggy is not to use the Microsoft default mail, whatever it is called now, easiest to hack and for spammers to pick up email accounts.
That would explain it. Virgin "sold" all their non optic customers to talk talk last year which I didn't appreciate so switched to g mail. Talk talk I believe had a huge hacking around that time. Must call my computer geek and get him to check me out.
Did you ever get "checked out" and did he find anything?
Peter my computer is squeaky clean which is more than can be said about Virgin. If you go on facebook and type in virgin spammers or similar there are thousands of unhappy customers who have been hacked yet virgin deny any knowledge or culpability. It seems that back last October 2015 their data base was hacked and people's address books etc stolen. These are being used to send spam e mails. I had a letter from virgin telling me my computer had been hacked yet my virgin account was closed in March 2015 when I switched to plusnet. I have no way of accessing to change password etc so merely blocked any virgin incomings. The spams continue but I do not get the bounce backs now so don't care. I do get the occasional phone call from old contacts telling me they have had an e mail from me they think dodgy but what more can a person do. There are hundreds of people out there tearing their hair out about it yet Virgin just say it is the customers fault fault and try to sell them another virus checker. A once great company loosing customers alas.
I didn't have any emails to alert me to posts for a couple of days but they started coming through again yesterday. my virus protection is up to date and I did an extra scan as a precaution.
