Oh dear! This is a desperately sad state of affairs.
Pretty shocking that we are 27th out of 31 in the EEC.

This is what I have been banging on about for the last five years and why I get annoyed with people who disagree with anticoagulation. At the last count we could save 8000 strokes a year if we changed this sad state of affairs. A few years ago at a similar meeting in House of Commons. Bohringer Englheim released an infographic where you could put in your area and find how well in UK your CCG was doing in this respect. My area came out quite well from memory
