I had an episode yesterday. No idea what trickered it except I got indigestion from licking spoon and bowl baking 🙄which made me bloated so perhaps Vargel nerve.
Anyhow it started out all over the place but quickly settled down to slightly fast with missed beats, which were not as uncomfortable. It that quite normal?

Well, what you describe is quite normal for me Gertsen.
I had a brief attack last night, in the middle of the night as I got up in the midst of a deep sleep for a bathroom break - I happened to bend over to pick something up off the floor and it started - a run of afib lasting about 5 seconds - I coughed and strained to engage the Valsalva manoeuvre and that stopped it - it was somewhat frustrating since up to yesterday, I had been free of any symptoms at all for the last several days to the point I was thinking I was over the worst of the seasonal arrival but then the weather here has been very odd for this time of year -- temps cycling above and below 0 when usually it would be cold since we are in the middle of winter here in Canada - yesterday it was 10 degrees c and historically my worst times of year are in the fall and spring - my poor old heart has to be confused as to what season we are in but regardless, it is what it is and not much I can do about either the afib or the weather
