No 100mg is max. I am on that and will have to take another type of pill if more needed.

Thats what my GP told me , but when `i saw my cardio he said if BP higher to take +50mg and referred me to this ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/199...

Yes but that is all about preventing heart failure not reducing blood pressure which is why most take it surely. I have to take amlodopine if mine goes up any more.

100mg. No side effects that I am aware of and it seems to be doing what it should do.

Been on this 20 yes + on 100mg per day. Was on Atenenol before and found this a vast improvement. Brand name Cozaar

I am exactly the same - was on tenoretic and then atenenol - Losartan has been great.

Been on it for about 10 years just increased from 12.5mg to 25mg. It's not for my PAF as far as I am aware but for left bundle branch block. No side effects that I know of.

I take 50mgs at night for blood pressure as well as other meds for AF!

I am on 100 mg a day with Diltiazem 300 mg as blood pressure very high post ablation. I am hoping I can reduce this dose at some stage as BP is now quite low I.e 108/77. Feel tired and a bit breathless most of the time and as now in sinus rhythm am assuming this is Meds.

I'm also on 100m per day. I'm confused as to whether this is the max dose, as I've been told different things by different medics. However, as I've been put on beta blockers for the AF and also lost weight, this seems to have also brought down my blood pressure a bit more, so hope I'm Ok for a bit.

Not aware of any side effects. Tiredness could be age, AF or anxiety/depression. Hard to say.

Good , the 100mg supposedly provides more protection against strokes I was told a while back ( as opposed to 50mg).
