Had a cardioversion yesterday at Nottingham City Hospital. It worked and I feel so much better this morning after being in Af and Aflutter for months. I hope it stays this way until my ablation early next year. The staff at Nottingham are brilliant and I could not have asked for better treatment. Can't praise them enough.

Enjoy and fingers crossed for a reasonable length of NSR.
So pleased to hear it was a success. It's just such a wonderful feeling when you wake after a cardioverson to a normal heart rate isn't it! Yes, my team who perform the procedure for me at Torbay Hospital are brilliant too. When I wake with a normal heart rate, I tell you, I could kiss their feet with gratitude. Stay well and enjoy being 'normal' again.
