Why not start your own. All you need to start is a nice pub, good food and a date. What happens after that is up to each gathering. Ours wanted to stay social whilst others may want something more formal but that needs a medical lead.

Hi Wendi

I have PAF but it's almost a year since my last episode . Thankfully the correct medication seems to be keeping everything under control. The big breakthrough for me was to see an EP privately , felt he was knowledgeable and understanding but I had to push hard my GP and the Cardio to get there.

From my experience of the past 2 years I would welcome the opportunity to join a group here in the Newcastle area. Would be good to have other people's input. Please let me know what feedback you have. AF is a frightening experience but like Bob I will not let AF rule my life.

Hi Wendi,

I don't know of any groups here in Newcastle. Love Bob's suggestion of starting one though, any thoughts on this I'm happy to get involved. Nice to know Neil is from here as well.

Hoping you both mean Newcastle upon Tyne and not Newcastle under Lyme.
