I'm sorry that you're having a poor day. I can't answer your specific question re stomach trouble but I do want to comment on my experience with Bisoprolol .

In autumn last year I was started on 5mg Bisoprolol , then put up to 7.5 and then 10mg. I adjusted to it fairly easily and although it didn't stop AF it did dampen down the effects. I was tired and breathless sometimes and then about 2 months ago I started to have difficulty walking. I could no longer stride out. My legs felt heavy, bendy and I felt as if I was walking on jelly.

2 weeks ago my EP changed my medication to a calcium channel blocker and flecanide . Within 2 days my mobility was back to normal. I'm not AF free and I have swollen ankles by evening. Fortunately I was warned when I read the AFA guide about calcium channel blockers.

I hope you feel better soon.

Hi shirlgal,I fell ill October 2012 put on bisoprolol and omeprazole had endoscopy,, echo cardiogram,,and what ever finally told I had duodenal ulcer hiatus hernia and AF and have been on Bisoprolol and omeprazole ever since.Had ablation last August pacemaker fit last June.I am now on 1.25 bisoprolol and 20mgs omeprazole, seeing GP tomorrow to see if I can drop to 10mgs,It,s been a long job but slowly things are getting better good luck with your results hope everything is sorted soon

I have had an endoscopy earlier this year whilst on warfarin and bisoprolol, no problem. I was not actually inAF at the time though. It wouldn't. have happened if. I was as my AF is always fast to extremely fast!! is 140-- 250bpm. Sandra
