My consultants registrar said 'no cardioversion' but no explanation - I was so shocked and didn't ask why not.

When I went for cardioversion a few months ago I was almost on the trolley when the anaethsetist came for a chat. I mentioned my low sats (not yet on oxygen) and he had to find an oximeter as the nurse hadn't done it. When he saw they were low he said I could not have the proceedure - it would have to be done under general anaesthetic.

I waited months for the call but nothing. Then a clinical appointment came through but I only saw the registrar who was not very easy to understand. He just said 'no'.

I have been struggling to come to terms with being on oxygen but still think the AF could be responsible for my low sats. I was hoping someone on here might have been in this situation with a better outcome.
