Has anyone with first degree heart bl... - Atrial Fibrillati...
Has anyone with first degree heart block got experience of taking rate or rhythm control meds?
Hi dedeottie, the AF Association has lots of fact sheets regarding medications which can be found here: atrialfibrillation.org.uk/p... . I hope that these will give you the information that you need. However, you are also more than welcome to call the AF Association helpline on 01789 451837 with any queries and we will do our best to answer your questions.
Thank you. I will read again through the fact sheets and will post again on here when I have heard cardio reccomenations
Read through the recommended leaflets and did get some answers to my question. Sounds like rhythm and rate control meds have to be taken with caution as they affect conduction through sinus node which is already delayed by first degree heart block.. At least I understand a bit more before seeing the cardiologist which always helps I find! Many thanks for the advice.
