Hi Coopo. Just recently I read that it is unwise to keep a mobile in top shirt pocket as there was a suggestion that it could impact adversely on heart rhythm if you have AF. My cousin also an AF sufferer said he had stopped doing it as he had read about it too.

Don't know of any medical study or proof. Its a theory worth looking into. In the meantime I would be risk averse and keep the mobile phone elsewhere.

HI Coopo . I know of another chap who believes this and stopped doing it and I confess I try not to put my phone in my shirt pocket. If they wont allow you to use an electric welder if you have a pacemaker then why can't a mobile affect our natural pacemaker. It is all elerctro magnetic impulses and stuff after all. Better safe than sorry.

Hi All , Thanks for your great responses I hope some one who knows how looks into it , I have met so many people who have irregular rythms and quite a lot say that they used to put their mobiles in top shirt pocket . Not too sure about laptops although I cant get one into my shirt pocket ( joke ). What would we do without our laptops . Bye for now COOPO
