Given that most pancreatic cancers are diagnosed late, I can't see that there is much potential for curative treatment (though it may be useful for cystic lesions that may be considered pre-cancerous).
For prostate tumors that are localized, the idea seems to make more sense, although why it would be more successful than other types of focal ablative therapy I don't know.
It is apparently only approved in the U.S. for liver lesions; here's an article from M.D. Anderson:
