I am wondering if anyone here can help me please figuring this out. We were paying $10 for a 3 months supply of Xarelto when I was on employer insurance. Now that I moved to Medicare and have part A &B and supplement insurance part N and drug supplement insurance part D (Wall green) is charging $600.
I would appreciate it very much if anyone on this drug or familiar with it to advise on what to do.
Thanks in advance

It is one of the first 10 drugs that Medicare is negotiating prices on. When I was taking it for Afib, I got a generic from India through alldaychemist.com for $39 for a 30-day supply of 200 mg tablets.
When I performed a search on Xarelto, there was a link for a savings program. I don’t know how much you could save, but it may be worth checking it out.
My wife switched to eliqis and purchases it through canadian pharmacy.com less than $50/mon, she has been buying there for over a year..Delivery is about 3 weeks with a prescription. It is also available through India Mart, not sure what the costs are. Eliquis is also one of the Drugs that that the government is negotiating prices on. I think the new lower prices go into affect 2025.
Unfortunately you don't save much money with that drug on Goodrx. It averages around $600 there. The nortwestpharmacy is a little worrisome because it lists a generic for Xarelto but there are no generics authorized for that yet. I think maybe 2025 or 2026, They list the generic for 15mg at 100 tabs for about $100 (not sure if that is Canadian money) and 84 tabs for about $500 for the brand name. --- Further research showed me that just this year Canada authorized a generic for sale in Canada only, so not available legally to export to the USA yet. I assume since the poster is talking about Medicare they live in the USA. I am surprised though that Canada is allowing the generic this year but maybe they have different patent laws.
My brother purchased some at one time from Canada and it was pretty cheap. My health plan has a $5,000 deductible so I use the Jannsen savings plan that saves me about $2,500 a year. I then have to pay $567 a month until I fulfill my deductible. The med cost pretty much sucks because there is no generic form yet. Hopefully in a few years there will be. It is unfortunate that government programs are included in the savings plan however Medicare is getting a negotiated price next year at $197.
it could have something to do with you prescription plan, once you reach the "donut hole" your cost is 25% until you reach the catastrophic phase. Next year your max out of pocket will be $2,000 iso $8,000 this year.
Xtandi was pricey for us. We had to go through northwestern medical pharmacy. On Medicare with a supplement and UHC for drugs. Xtandi cost us 3000 first month and we hit the donut hole fast. Then 645 per month.
Are you sure you even need an industrial strength blood thinner like Xarelto? For years I just took low dose aspirin for my atrial fibrillation. I was on Xarelto briefly after my a-fib ablation surgery. TA's suggestion for less expensive drug from India is what I would do facing these costs.
