Hello, Friends. My latest scan shows lytic lesion at T11 and fracture at L2. How bad is this and is there treatment? I'm having trouble walking and bad pain in leg and back. Failed all the usual treatments at this point.
Thanks.

Have you had docetaxel yet?
No, but considering. Failed Lu 177 after a few treatments, and failed Zytiga and Xtandi. Gleason 9, 7 years since diagnosed with advanced metastatic, mets everywhere. Age 82. Is the Docetaxel thought to extend life at my stage or ease pain, or both? Thank you, TA.
You can radiate the met with SBRT. This allows to radiate very small areas with high doses.
what about all the prior radiation? Will that limit me in getting that? I’ve had spot radiation before (lots of it) and Pluvicto. thx.
It's never ideal of course but aside from chemo that Tall Allen inquired about, your options are limited.
You posted: " lytic lesion at T11". This can be radiated with SBRT. You have to consult an RO if this is possible in spite of previous radiation.
Now you mentioned: "mets everywhere". This is far more than the one lesion I was aware of.
whats your current treatment?
If you have a fractured L2 and you're feeling pain in your leg, I would move quickly. You could end up with stenosis which would likely require surgery to separate the spine and cord so there is enough space for SBRT or Proton therapy. Get evaluated asap by a rad onc and orthopedic surgeon. Make sure you have a good systemic therapy going too. Docetaxel may be a great option.
